Afro flow is a dance style cultivated by Tegu Lashau. This class is dedicated to women wanting to explore new movement in the body and feel powerful and graceful in it. This style encompasses Belly dance, hip hop, contemporary, and Afro centric movement. Bring a sister and let loose a little!
Led by Tegu Lashau, a passionate movement artist and choreographer with a background in majorette, Afrocentric dance, and belly dance. Being both self-taught and professionally trained, Tegu also dances with Oklahoma City’s Legendz Dance Crew and creates choreography that spans from belly dance, contemporary, and hip-hop. Her purpose? To help women reconnect with their essence through movement that’s both graceful and powerful.
